Brunner’s creative philosophy is that big ideas evolve from a collaborative effort of smart, talented professionals in all disciplines working together. The two “Brunnerites” on the panel tonight exemplify that thinking, one as a media director and the other as a creative director.
Eunice Hong Carter is Media Director. After graduating from the J-School her career began at Saatchi & Saatchi in New York. Since then she has held key media positions at agencies that include Merkley Newman and BBDO among others.
She has worked on brands ranging from Mercedes-Benz to Durex Condoms. (No doubt Jimmy Kimmel could find a great line or two in that but we’ll just let that dog lie, as they say.)
Eunice has received extensive recognition in her career as a media pro including the Cannes Media Lion competition.
Brett Compton is Creative Director at Brunner. After earning his diploma from the Grady College his first position in advertising was in Account Management at Sawyer Riley Compton. That three-year stint gave him a unique understanding of brand strategy as well as respect for account execs and what they bring to the creative process. Then, after conning the agency’s creative director into giving him a shot at writing, he was in hot pursuit of his true passion.
Brett has worked on brands ranging from The Ritz-Carlton Hotels to Zippo Lighters. His work has been in The One Show and Canne’s, the two most coveted awards competitions in advertising as well as featured in The CA Advertising Annual, Lurzer’s Archive, AdAge’s Creativity and D&AD.
